Auden has a new home

As you grow up there comes a time to leave home and that’s exactly what’s happening to Auden Guitars following an agreement to purchase of the old Co-Operative building in Lancaster Street, Higham Ferrers, Northamptonshire.

The building dates back to 1924 when it was opened as a Co-Op Grocery store and butchery. More recently it has been used by a local printing company and has fallen into some disrepair. Auden will now start the process of returning the fabric of the building to its former glory while establishing a showroom, sound room, finishing workshop and offices within the 3000 square foot space. The ownership of the building will transfer to Auden from the start of September and the refit will take approximately 3 months. If all goes to plan then Auden will start to trade from the new premises from the beginning of 2014.
