We’ve had a few reviews of our guitars published recently, including a glowing review of the Auden Edgar and Marlow guitars in the March issue of Acoustic magazine. That review is now live online to read if you missed the magazine. Guy Little puts both the guitars through their paces and is incredibly enthusiastic about them.
…the Marlow is a charming, lively and engaging little parlour that lives for snappy riffs, delicate fingerstyle passages and smokey blues licks. It’s addictive beyond description and a complete joy to play. Then you have the Edgar – a true gentle giant with a hulking frame but a versatile, sonorous voice that is enthrallingly beautiful with the potential to change your guitar playing forever. There’s nothing quite like playing a good baritone and if you’re tempted then you really ought to give the Edgar a try.
Earlier in the year, Dave Foster reviewed the Chester Cutaway on his blog Gear Acquisition Syndrome. Dave was equally impressed in his review,
…the gorgeous Indian rosewood back and sides give the guitar an unusually extended sonic spectrum both in the lows and the highs, more so that I’m used to from Mahogany or the walnut on my Taylor and the spruce top gives it a top end sparkle which sounds truly fantastic in conjunction with the Indian rosewood. The whole guitar has a resonant vibe to it that escapes so many other acoustic guitars.
Our dealer network is growing all the time, should you wish to try an Auden or pop in to Auden HQ in Higham Ferrers to try the whole range. Call first though on 01933 391234 so we can make sure everything is perfect for your visit.
Where possible we’ve collected reviews of our guitars and publish them here on the site in the media section which you can download and read later.
